The Great Homes Tour

The Great Homes Tour Recap: 10 Stunning New Homes Across Boise & Meridian

From late April through the first weekend of May, Alturas Homes proudly took part in The Great Homes Tour. This multi-community event featured 10 beautiful new homes from top local builders. Hundreds of visitors came out to tour homes, meet the builders, and enjoy a first-hand look at the latest in home design.

The event stretched across Boise, South Meridian, and North Meridian. It was a great way to showcase new construction in several of the Treasure Valley’s most desirable neighborhoods. Spring weather, festive energy, and outstanding craftsmanship made this one of the season’s most exciting real estate events.

A Collaboration with Community in Mind

Alturas Homes partnered with Brighton Homes and James Clyde Homes to bring this event to life. Together, we created a full-spectrum experience for buyers looking for their next home or simply inspiration. Visitors enjoyed a diverse mix of styles, floor plans, and neighborhood vibes.

Even more, the homes were staged, fully finished, and ready for move-in. This allowed guests to experience what living in these homes would truly feel like — not just imagine it.

Meet the Homes We Showcased

Alturas Homes showcased three distinct floor plans in three different communities. Each home was thoughtfully designed to reflect its location, layout, and livability.

The Big Creek – Quartet Community, North Meridian

This spacious two-story home was built for flexibility and function. It includes an office, a large bonus room, a playroom, and a flex space with an en suite bedroom. With multiple gathering spaces, it’s ideal for families or those needing room to spread out. The Big Creek combines size, comfort, and versatility in one beautiful layout.

The Chelsea Bonus – Pinnacle, South Meridian

In South Meridian, The Chelsea Bonus offered a perfect blend of simplicity and smart design. This single-level home included a split-bedroom layout, open main living areas, and an upstairs bonus room. It’s a comfortable and efficient plan — great for everyday living or entertaining guests.

The Smyth – The Highlands at Cartwright Ranch, Boise Foothills

The Smyth stood out for its elevated design and luxurious finishes. Located in the scenic Boise Foothills, this home featured a main-level primary suite, open-concept living, and refined architectural details. It felt high-end, peaceful, and perfectly positioned in one of Boise’s most coveted neighborhoods.

A Block Party in Quartet

In North Meridian’s Quartet community, Alturas Homes hosted a block party during the tour alongside James Clyde Homes. Neighbors, visitors, and home shoppers gathered for food trucks, music, and sunshine. It was a fun and casual way to bring the community together. Events like this make it easy to picture life in a place like Quartet!

A Tour of Top Boise Builders

The tour also included stunning designs by Brighton Homes and James Clyde Homes, whose craftsmanship, high-end finishes, and innovative layouts contributed to an unforgettable experience. Visitors explored a full range of styles — from modern farmhouse to classic Northwest — making The Great Homes Tour a true showcase of the best from top Idaho builders.

How The Great Homes Tour Differs from the Boise Parade of Homes

While both events showcase beautiful new homes in the Boise area by top builders, The Great Homes Tour offers a unique, community-focused experience designed to be fun and accessible for everyone —our tour is completely free to attend!

Each weekend during the tour, visitors enjoyed free home tours alongside special community events. Fridays featured popular food trucks, providing a variety of tasty options. We also hosted two lively block parties packed with family-friendly activities, music, and games. On Sundays, guests were treated to coffee and The STIL ice cream — perfect for relaxing after touring some of the area’s finest new homes.

In short, The Great Homes Tour is about more than just homes. It’s about bringing neighborhoods to life, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and offering visitors a full weekend of free food, drinks, treats, and fun — all while exploring exceptional homes built by some of Boise’s best builders.
