Meet the Team Behind Alturas Homes

The Alturas Homes team - a glimpse at the people who make the homes possible.

A home may be what you see when you pull into the driveway. But it takes a whole team to bring it there. From the first ideas on paper to the final walkthrough, dozens of people contribute to every Alturas home. They bring their time, expertise, creativity, and care to the process.

Behind every floor plan, design detail, construction site, and homeowner experience is the Alturas Homes team. They take pride in what they do—and in doing it together.

Here’s a look at the people behind Alturas Homes.

The People Who Started It All

Alturas Homes is a family business, and that family history is a big part of who we are today. Brothers Scott Givens, President, and Rod Givens, Managing Partner, are at the heart of Alturas Homes and carry forward more than 50 years of family homebuilding experience in the Treasure Valley.

Their experience, vision, and commitment have helped shape the company into what it is today while continuing to push it forward.

Ashley Brown, Customer Experience, also plays an important role in keeping the many moving pieces connected. Her role reaches across the company, supporting everything from customer care to sales and marketing and helping teams work together along the way.

Together, they help guide the direction of Alturas. They also stay closely connected to the people and projects that make up the day-to-day work.

Pre-Construction & Design: Where the Vision Begins

Long before a home takes shape on a jobsite, there’s a team figuring out what it should look like. They consider how it should function and how all the pieces need to come together.

Our Pre-Construction & Design team is made up of some of the biggest visionaries at Alturas. Architects, structural designers, interior designers, and our in-house rendering and design talent work together to turn ideas into homes.

The Structural Design team—including Chase Richter, Scott Johnson, Deirdra Parker, Stephan Bills, and others—helps make sure our homes are thoughtfully designed from the ground up.

Our Interior Design team, including Rebekah Carson, brings another layer of personality to the homes we build, thinking through materials, finishes, colors, and details that make a space feel complete.

This is where a lot of the creative thinking happens. It’s where we ask questions and look for better ideas. Most importantly, it’s where we figure out how to make a home not just work, but feel like an Alturas home.

Project Management: Making It Happen

Once the plans are ready, it’s time to bring them to life.

Our Project Management team takes everything that has been designed and turns it into a home. Gordon Werrett, Jaden Coombs, Brian Harrell, Gary Frederick, Kaden Snooks, and Baptise Menon work alongside trades and partners to keep projects moving. They also make sure the details are handled along the way.

Their days can look very different from one another, but the goal stays the same: build it right.

That means walking homes, coordinating with trades, and solving problems. It also means checking details, answering questions, and finding solutions when things don’t go according to plan.

It’s a role that requires experience, communication, and a willingness to get things done—and our team brings plenty of all three.

Customer Care: Here for the Homeowners

Building a home doesn’t end when construction is complete.

Our Customer Care team—including Nolan Bachelder, Cees Kalkman, and Tony Cunha—helps make sure homeowners continue to feel supported after they move in. Ashley also works closely with this team through her Customer Experience role.

From questions about the home to those little details that come up after move-in, Customer Care is there to listen, troubleshoot, and help find solutions.

It’s an important part of the Alturas experience because we believe our relationship with a homeowner shouldn’t end when they receive the keys.

Sales & Marketing: The Fab 4

We may be a little biased, but we think our Sales & Marketing team is pretty fun.

Brittany Berry, Marketing Director; Kat O’Connor, Marketing Coordinator; Jake Demeerleer, Sales; and Ashley make up what we affectionately call the Fab 4.

This team helps introduce people to Alturas—from showcasing our homes and communities to helping buyers find the right home for the way they live. Marketing brings the brand and homes to life, while Sales works directly with buyers to help them navigate the home-buying process.

And yes, we make things pretty along the way.

More importantly, Sales and Marketing work closely with the rest of the company to make sure what we share with the outside world reflects the homes and the people behind them.

Finance, Purchasing & Estimating: The Work Behind the Work

Not every part of building a home happens on a jobsite—or gets seen by a homeowner.

Our Finance team, including Rodney Allen, Aladin Dizdarevic, and Austin Jacobo, handles the financial side of the business and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Our Purchasing & Estimating team—Casey Weatherston, Benjamin Williams, and Kyli Joncas—helps turn plans into real numbers and real resources. They work through the details of what goes into each home, helping make sure the materials, costs, and logistics line up with the plans.

It may not be the most visible part of building a home, but it’s essential to making everything else possible.

The Alturas Homes Team: More Than the Sum of Its Parts

Every Alturas home carries the work of a lot of people. The designers who shaped the plans. The sales team who helped a buyer find the right fit. The project managers who walked the jobsite and kept the build moving. The customer care team who stayed connected after move-in. The people behind the scenes who handled the details that most homeowners never see.

That’s what makes the Alturas Homes team special. Everyone brings something different to the table, but we’re all working toward the same goal: building homes we’re proud to put our name on.

And that teamwork is something we see every day. Sometimes it looks like a meeting around a table. Other times, it looks like a group walking through a home in Tamarack Resort, talking through the details, sharing ideas, and looking for ways to make something even better.

That commitment to working together and continually raising the bar is a big part of who we are.

The Values Behind the Homes

At Alturas, our core values are Partnership, Day One, Commitment to Excellence, Passion, and Get Things Done.

But to us, those aren’t just words on a page.

Partnership looks like a designer, project manager, salesperson, and customer care team member working together toward the same goal.

Commitment to Excellence looks like walking a home and catching one more detail, even when no one else might notice it.

Passion looks like people who genuinely care about the homes they’re creating.

And Get Things Done looks like the countless people behind the scenes finding solutions, helping each other, and keeping things moving.

That’s the part of Alturas we’re most proud of.

Beyond Alturas Homes

Alturas Homes is part of a broader family of companies, and that network of expertise supports the work we do every day.

From cabinetry with Castle Peak Cabinets to excavation and concrete with Hartley, these companies bring additional expertise to the projects we take on. Some members of the Alturas Homes team have also moved into new roles within that broader family—including Dallin Harris, who recently transitioned from Alturas Homes to lead Hyndman, our commercial construction company.

It’s another reflection of the relationships and people that have helped shape Alturas over the years.

More Than the Homes

The finished home may be what you see, but it represents the work of an entire team.

From the first sketch to the final walkthrough, every Alturas home is shaped by people who care about the details, care about the people they work with, and care about what they’re building.

That’s the Alturas Homes team—and we’re pretty proud of the people behind the homes.
